Project Description

Bayshore is a mixed-use Town Center developed by Steiner + Associates. Sardi Design’s assignment focused on creating engagement experiences and environments combining lighting and seasonal environmental effects with landscape, streetscape and architectural elements:

Architectural features
Integrated landscape design and lighting
Streetscape design
Seasonal and festival design

The creation of different streetscapes was developed to enhance opportunities to celebrate regional expression and a sense of place, while allowing for programming “atmospheres” and “moods” as well as a calendar of events across the year. Integration of light, projection, seasonal environmental effects, sound and programmable features were integrated as components of the program.

Sardi was also charged with creating “gathering points” within the project to provide a space expressive of the unique identity, history and culture of the Milwaukee community.
