Sardi Design developed an exterior holiday scenographic and lighting program for the Firewheel Town Center in Garland, Texas. The project, one of the first Simon Property town center developments, used motifs related to Texas fairs, festivals and main streets. The gigantic snowflake, an eight pointed star designed to be dramatically suspended over the main street of the project, has been widely imitated since its debut in 2005.
