Sardi designed a unique ‘Media Sail’ for the mile long waterfront esplanade along the Potomac River at National Harbor. Each Sail was designed with a mast outfitted to accept a customized panel (‘the sail’) of media mesh, to provide programmable video images to support sponsorships, festivals and property branding. At the initial installation a fabric sail was used in combination with color changing LED lights to create ambient effects. The installation of media mesh is planned for a future sponsorship.
